Summer storm brewing : Angry Skies
Possible straight-line winds, toppled an old HackBerry Tree in the woods.

Wow... that must have been some storm. Glad you are home safe. I don't know if I mentioned before but I love that wood / road photo at the top right of your page.
Happy Summer - can't wait to get back down to Tennessee.
My Dad's picture is on the wall in Tootsie's. Thanks for a glance at my old stompin grounds! HA!
We were in Ernest Tubbs and Roberts Western World 4 weeks ago. I long to be back in your neck of the woods.
And I bet it will be cutting wood?
Patsy
Look at the downed tree as...a new place to plant something that likes the sun!
So it was your tree that fell down. You are going to be busy chopping that up. However, you will have a lot of firewood for the wintertime, won't you.
Blessings, Star
Oh my, we had horrific storms too.
And yes, my hubby will cutting trees all over the farm. I try to look at it like this-we heat by wood, so it's God's little way of helping us out for next winter! LOL
Happy Thursday!

Oh Jo---I'm sorry you lost a tree or trees in that storm. It blew our deck umbrella (which is very heavy) over.. BUT--other than leveling some of our lilies, we were lucky.
Today is hotter than HOT. Yuk!!!!
George's brother and wife went to the Country Music Festival in Nashville this past week. They go every year.
Hope you didn't have anymore damage.
Hugs,
Betsy
Sorry to see a tree blew down. It looks like a nice one as well. Now you've got your work cut out chopping it and disposing of it.
Thanks for the drive through Nashville! I haven't been there in a while and it was nice to see the place.
Yucky weather. . . leaving you a mess to clean up. . . good luck with that. . . sorry you had to come home to it.
I was pleased to revisit Nashville after so many years. Certainly brought back memories.
Love the photo of the cat peeping over the top of the fence.
Some interesting and enjoyable posts here.
