A Back Porch To Sit And Ponder..

The porch on the back of the house is where we spend most of our time.
It has a "tin" roof and so whenever it rains, it's the place of choice , especially if you enjoy listening to the falling raindrops on the tin.

At the end of the day, this is where I unwind, with a nice cup of tea, and dreaming about putting the world to rights.....

Awwwwwwww! What a respite! Lovely peaceful setting. We love sitting on our upper terrace but it isn't as posh as yours. TTFN ~Marydon

your porch is a very cozy and relaxed place - if I would live there, I would spend most of my time on the porch too!

Oh but wait. . . I just knew I was in love with your front porch! Maybe it was just infatuation because I AM SERIOUSLY in Love with your back porch, I think it has a lot to do with that tin roof and so many furniture options to relax and enjoy raindrops and soothing sounds.

OH MY! I felt myself relaxing just looking and reading. What a nice place to sit with a good book, and some sweet tea! I loved the front but I think the back is where I would end up living. No need to even go inside!
What a lovely place you have!

Definitely a wonderful place to relax.....and speaking of places to relax, I've just spent waaaaay too much time browsing through your blog and enjoyed it so very much.

(From some of your images, I think maybe we live fairly close...we are on Clinch Mountain.)

I just love the detail you put into your place of respite...like the hanging pots, etc.
Wonderful place! I will be there around 11 a.m. for a spot of tea or coffee...don't fuss....

What a great respite! I would definitely be on that porch all the time. I just love to hear rain on tin roofs. Can I invite myself for a cup of tea :) and just sit a spell.
I love your blog and thanks for sharing your lovely place.
