A Saintly Watch

Out and about around the garden....

The First Sergeant came home with this lovely St. Francis of Assisi statue a few days ago. It's a stone/resin likeness of the beloved patron saint of animals and the environment.

There are several new flowers in bloom, Coneflower/White Swan

Hello Jo! What a lovely gift and perfect for your garden. Your flowers are beautiful...I've never seen that particular coneflower before and I love that birdhouse. Looks like birch...I miss those we had in British Columbia (birch trees)...that beautiful white bark seemed to glow in the moonlight. I hope you have a wonderful Friday...take care. Maura :)

Hi Jo, What a beautiful statue... I'm sure St. Francis will enjoy taking good care of your garden...

Beautiful flowers also. Your Daylilies are fabulous and I love the bird house.

Have a great 4th of July. God Bless America.

Your husband found a beautiful sculpture. I admire it and how white makes it look so great. I don't know if you remember but we both have been in that same shop where they sold you the birdhouse. We are going back to see our son in August. Your flowers look so wonderful.

What a beautiful statue! What will you put in the basket? And the flowers are so beautiful with the light coming through them, which also means you were up very early to get those pictures! Thanks for sharing.
