It's been quite a surprise that he has decided he likes being an inside cat.
Other than spending a few hours on the porch inside his cage each evening he is content to stay indoors.
Hopefully, we won't have any more confrontations with Tom cats on the prowl.
Thank you for all of your kind comments and concerns, he's thinking about starting his own blog >^..^<

It's nice to hear that Oliver has chosen the safer life and enjoys staying in the house - but it's still cold out, he may change his mind this summer...
He is so pretty, if I wasn't allergic, he could share my pillow!
:-)
Oliver, let me know when you start your own blog and I'll send some of my friends your way!

Oliver has to be my favorite kitty boy! His tangle with the other cat must have been a traumatic experience for him not to want to be outside anymore. My daughter's little dog loves to play with cats; grown ones that is. She's terrified of little kittens; I think they must move around way too fast for her.
Hooray for Oliver!
Hello Jo!
Aww that's nice that your Oliver is all mended and likes being an inside cat. Our Olly loves being inside too...same with Lizzy although she likes to watch the back yard through the window and often wants out to hunt. Oliver reminds me of marmalade!
Enjoy your kitty and your day.
Maura :)
Thats great news that he is all better. Our Miggy is slowly getting better , it wont be till at least may that she can run in the yard. Have a great day !
Jo, I'm so glad that Oliver has mended and is feeling a bit more content having a 'quiet' life! I hope for his safety that doesn't change!
He knows that he is a perfect house cat and he also will be in charge of everything soon. He looks administrative.
Awww, I;d read Oliver's blog. Ha. so glad he is getting better. Certainly sounds like he had fully adjusted to indoor life and look terribly cozy and snug there. Sweet thing.
Hi...
I just stumbled onto your blog and there are so many things that interest me. LOVE your pretty kitty. I didn't get down to reading about his incident, but I am glad that he has recovered. He's a gorgeous cat and probably has figured there is no place like home (we have 3 cats who live indoors). Secondly, my husband is an expat Brit and he's dealing with upstate New York, though I think he is pretty used to our winters by this time. Thirdly, I am an Old Country Roses collector. We received several pieces for our wedding from my husband's family and I have been collecting ever since.
I am so happy I came across your blog and look forward to visiting often. Please stop by if you have a chance!

3 cheers for Oliver. A pox on roving tom cats. cheers. ann
Oliver has got be the happiest cat on the planet! Just look at that smile! Suzie in Idaho
It's good to hear that Oliver is doing well with his recovery. I'm not surprised that he's decided that being an indoor cat is so bad.
Oh, he is a handsome rascal! He's a perfect match to my "Goldie"--Female ginger cats are a little rare you know! My son says there is just a special personality about the ginger orange kitties!
Oliver is a smart kitty. He knows which side of the door is more safe and secure! Glad to hear he's healed up.
Sooooo glad Oliver is doing well and learning that he'll be safer, and happier, as an indoor cat.
This photo could not be any cuter!
I hope you will join me for my Expat Linky Party on March 19th. XOL
How marvelous that Oliver is healed and is whole once again!
Our mama cat, who is somewhere about 9 years old, decided during the winter weather that she liked being warm indoors. Now that the weather is warming, she's chosen to go outside occasionally. Perhaps Olive will someday choose that, too.
Hugs!
Hi Jo, Yes---we all had lots of rain, didn't we????? AND--more is coming this week... At least, our yard/plants/flowers/trees all love the rain!!!!
Glad Oliver is doing so well.... I have seen animal blogs before.. They are CUTE--from the mind of the cat (or dog)...
Hugs,
Betsy
I`m so happy Oliver mended well & is staying inside close to you. It`s nice waking up in the am with a cat warming your bed, phyllis
Oliver is such a rich coloured cat. Smart boy for becoming an indoor feline, as the world can be a rough place for gentle soul as he. A home is not complete without the purr of a cat.
Awww..glad he's better!
I laughed out loud at that quote!
Awww, I'm so glad to hear this news. I know very few cats who haven't transitioned easily to indoor cats, including my own orange boy, Leon.
Ein ganz herzliches liebevolles Foto!
Herzliche Grüße
Silvia-Maria
