When I have more on my 'to do' list than I seem to accomplish I eat chocolate.
Cake, chocolate bars, chocolate digestive biscuits, I'm not picky, I scoff the lot.
I put it down to desperation, and all those years of being around 'sweets' in a bakery, right there at my fingertips for the taking.
Old habits are hard to break.

I just made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for my boys. I'm endlessly astounded that there is more sugar than flour in my recipe, 2 cups in the cake and 3 cups in the frosting. They love it!
Chocolate! Mmmmmmm one of life's little pleasures. Treat yourself and have a good week.
I am pretty fond of chocolate myself! I am not supposed to eat it, must be the devil making me do it.
;-)
Cute little picture!
just found your blog. I'm from Middle Tenn. living in Atlanta, GA for almost 40 years. Your blend of England and Tenn is scrumptious! I am off to explore some more of you blog! Thanks...Pam N.
I just love that little picture. I would have that up and framed in my kitchen. Chocolate cake is a big favorite in our family especially my husband. It always had to be chocolate cake on birthdays. Chocolate should be eaten every day. I have a piece of chocolate after dinner every night, just one.I think it is good for the heart. That's my story and I am stickin' to it. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5
Honey, I'm right there with Ya. Nothing soothes like chocolate. That is the cutest print. I love it!
Love, Carol B.
I'm with you..chocolate... well what can I say. Our town is having a Chocolate Walk on April 1st. (no fooling!)
I LOVE chocolate. I might treat myself to some when I get home tonight, since it will be six weeks that I've been dieting. There is nothing like it.

Love the picture and tiny verse!
Hugs!
The picture is cute. I love chocolate as well but I cant have a lot of it as it affects my tummy, But I do enjoy it every now and then mmm digestives with chocolate on them yummy goes good with a cup of tea ! Have a great day !
Funny, I attribute my chocolate mania to the fact that I was never allowed to have any when I was growing up. It was "bad for you."
Cocoa is full of antioxidants ~ right??? I am in love with that darling little picture too! Give sweet Oliver a big hug from me.
Lots of love,
Susan and Bentley

I'm hearing you on this one Jo! I always thought chocolate was one of the major food groups! I adore chocolate in any shape or form.
I love chocolate too Jo but it has to be Cadbury's, Galaxy or Lindt. I also like Aero bars and Thorntons. My mouth is watering now.
So glad Oliver is better ((Oliver)).
And with Easter just around the corner, those Chocolate Cadbury Eggs are calling my name.. I cannot say no to Chocolate EGGS!
Well, I admit to being a chocoholic. As a matter of fact, it is a staple on our grocery list!! My husband has brought me chocolate when he visits England and I am crazy for Flake!!
Just yesterday, one of the women at work was selling chocolate for her daughter's school. Sooooo, I ended up with four chocolate bars!!

I had a real good wake up call about chocolate when I discovered it was one of the food triggers for my migraines! Seldom eat chocolate anymore!
Hello Jo!
Oooo I'd love to be that little mouse scarfing down that lovely chocolate cake. I'd also love to live in that little cottage! I eat chocolate when I'm stuck in the house...it's been a bad winter for me ;) I need spring! Hope your Friday is a good one.
