An Elephant Never Forgets

When I first watched these videos I couldn't stop crying.

First aired in 2000 "The Urban Elephant" brought viewers the touching story of Shirley and Jenny, two crippled elephants reunited at the Elephant Sanctuary in Howenwald, Tennessee.

I have long been a fan of this sanctuary and watch the elephants occassionally on their website "elecam". It's amazing to me that society still treats animals like they are stupid, unknowing just because they don't speak our language doesn't mean that they are dumb. Beautiful!

Do put your kettle on! I LOVE this. And we all need someone in our lives like Solomon too.
