After my run of bad luck lately, I've desperately felt the need for a "lift"..
Upon opening my e-mail box this morning, there is was.....
An invitation to my favorite Antebellum home Watermelon Moon Farm, all gloriously decked out for it's Christmas Open House, and just begging visitors to enter through it's doors and step back in time.
Emily and Harold the most gracious proprietors, will no doubt be serving their specialty hors d' oeuvres and copious amounts of Spiced Tea.
The rooms will be brimming, with unique Christmas gifts all hand selected by Emily herself.

I'm marking my calendar as I type. I may show up on crutches.

What ever Gremlin stalks my computer or blogger sometimes stops posts from showing up,several of your posts ,I have had trouble getting.I did not realize that you had been unwell,that must have been one of the posts that did not show up,I am so sorry for you and I do hope you get well soon.
The invitation you received,sounds just what you need to cheer you up and I do remember the post you did on this place before.
I hope your crutches are not needed by the time you go,but with or without them have a lovely time and I wish you well.

Please let Emily know you will need chairs about so you can sit from time to time. Walking much with crutches is so exhausting. I know the eye candy will help a lot, but a chance and place to sit will do you lots of good, too.

Hi Jo, Such an incredible place... AND--that would definitely be a pick-me-up.... We are working now on some Christmas places to visit this next month....
Hope your knee is better... BUT--even if you have to be rolled in a wheelchair, don't miss that beautiful home.
