Summer Days

"Then followed that beautiful season the Summer!
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; And the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood."

It was not quite so oppressing today, glad for even the slightest break in the heat. :-)

It's always a pleasure to visit here and enjoy your jeweled moments of beauty, set as they are, so wonderfully full of color and light against the black background of your blog. I'm always torn between a black backdrop or a white one...I may be going back to black soon. It's very restful.

Hi Jo, Your pictures always make Summer look so inviting... I have never cared much for Summer (at least since I became an adult) ---but seeing that picture makes me appreciate it much more...

We got about 3-4 inches of rain today... Rained and rained... LOVE it since it cooled things off for at least a day!!!! ha
Hugs,
Betsy

Beautiful, as always. Mr Bankerchick is in Mo right now and he said the humidity was awful, but everything else was beautiful. He sent me a picture of flowers growing in our yard there but I don't have a way of posting from my particular phone. It does not compare to your lovely photography.

It is beautiful. But I have to admit that it's my least favorite of the seasons. I'm finding myself longing for those perfect autumn temps and no humidity! ha.
