For The Love Of A Cat

Gentle eyes that see so much,
paws that have the quiet touch,
Purrs to signal "all is well"
and show more love than words could tell.
Graceful movements touched with pride,
a calming presence by our side --
A friendship that takes time to grow -
Small wonder why we love them so.

Pretty cat. Great poem!

I hope you are having a good day, even though it's pretty gray out there.

Time to cozy up!

Sweet poem and sweeter picture!

Our two cats seem to have personality issues. The annoy each other which makes the mama cat grumpy. Her 7 year old son is vocal and persistent in his wants and wishes. What is your secret to having a tranquil cat?

Hugs!

Oh, what a lovely post. Cats are special, aren't they. Such comforters in time of need; great entertainers when a smile is needed.

I look at your blog every day in Google Reader, but I've never stopped by to comment. I'm a friend of Ginny's from "Let Your Light Shine."

There's that cat again :)
Is that a scratch on his nose? Perhaps he's been fighting when you weren't looking? It always amazes me how solitary cats are.
We still see the Ghost every day and Patch is not amused.
Lovely poem. Gorgeous cat you have.
Blessings, Star

This photo of your cat reminds me of our Yellow Kitty. She is getting very old and can nap most all day and night. She does have the energy to demand more food.

Hello Jo,
You have such a lovely cat...the colour reminds me of marmalade! Our Olly is here in the warm house sleeping on my chair but Lizzy is out in the cold. She's a true barn cat likes being outside but I think tonight she'll miss sleeping with her brother...I'll try again later to coax her inside. Your kitty looks so content :) I hope you're having a nice quiet evening...
Maura :)
