"Seize Your Chance At Happiness."...." 'Little Dorrit'

If you enjoyed the Masterpiece Classics, aired earlier this year on Public Broadcasting Service, you'll be delighted to know, that in celebration of winning 7 Emmy Awards, the Charles Dickens "Little Dorrit" will be aired online.

Amy Dorrit's (Claire Foy) gentle spirit has never been dampened by the confining walls of the Marshalsea Prison she's lived in her whole life.
Despite the dark shadow of debtor's prison, Amy lovingly cares for her father William Dorrit (Tom Courtenay), the longest serving inmate.
A possibly redemptive light unexpectedly shines in the form of Arthur Clennam (Matthew Macfadyen), who has been left with the intriguing threads of a mystery after his father's death — threads that will intertwine his family and fate with the Dorrits.
Clennam's exhaustive search for answers involves murder, fortunes gained and lost, the upper echelons and lowest dregs of society, and most surprising of all, a tender romance.
Adapted by Andrew Davies (Bleak House, Pride and Prejudice), Little Dorrit, based on the book by Charles Dickens, is a sprawling story as timely as it is moving.

MASTERPIECE
was honored with seven Emmy Awards for Little Dorrit and now you can join in the celebration! For a limited time, Little Dorrit available for online viewing.

In addition to being recognized for outstanding miniseries, MASTERPIECE's Little Dorrit was honored in categories including: writing, directing, costuming, casting, art direction and cinematography.

"We're so pleased that Little Dorrit received all this recognition," says MASTERPIECE executive producer Rebeccca Eaton. "It's a series that does MASTERPIECE, the BBC — and Charles Dickens — proud."

Thanks for the heads up! Yes, I'm a Charles Dickins fan and have loved most of his books! I watch Masterpiece Theater quite often and have loved their showings recently of Jane Austen. BTW, I love your soft music playing in the background! It's wonderful.

Hey Jo, It's a lazy rainy day in east TN. My plans for the day is to do nothing!!

Feels great to have some time off from work. John's going to finish cleaning the garage. I'm thinking about breakfast ~ scrambled eggs, toast, sausage and a nice pot of tea.

Hugs
