After several weeks of insignificant rainfall, we are now being deluged with three days of non-stop rain.
Over seven inches has fallen in the past two days alone, and the forecast is for rain the entire rest of the week, and weekend.
The creeks are out of their banks, the gardens are now a sloppy pile of mud.
I suppose, I should be careful what I wish for.....

WOW! That IS a lot of rain. I hope you don't experience any flooding in your home! We've had VERY little rain, but we did get a great downpour on Monday. I loved it. It smelled so fresh and clean. Love your pictures.
It is letting up here and you are getting it now. We have had it for last three days. No sun yet tho.

We had a very wet spring and summer. Our veggie garden was like a mud hole!
It seems to go from one extreme to the other.
Your pictures are lovely regardless of the rain.
Sunny :)
7 inches.. that is a lot. It's still nice weather in the upper midwest so I am making the most of it before the winter rolls in and brings the rains with it.
That is a beautiful shot of the water. You have a good eye to find those compositions. We need rain but not that much. Great photos on your blog.

We're right with you, Jo.. We've had alot of rain also--but I think you all have had MORE. I love rain --but not all at once!!!!!
I love all of your pictures--but that one showing the reflections in the big puddles is super!!!
Hugs,

we have had no rain for around 20 days now up here, we may get a sprinkle today. Are all those photos of your place? If so it is beautiful.
