Changing Seasons...

We made a trip up the road to the local flea market today, between rain falling....again.
There's no mistaking Fall is just around the corner, pumpkins , gourds, apples, cornstalks, all in abundance.

It's time to start decorating the front porch, leaf- swags over the front door, corn stalks on the columns, pumpkins, gourds, and chrysanthemums of all colors. Finishing with a huge wreath of berries and dried fruit.

Yes, it's time......

Beautiful Jo.... Except to go to church today, we didn't leave the house. It rained here ALL day long... Six days and counting!!!! Gads!!!!

Your Harvest decorations are beautiful. I probably won't decorate until the first of October since I leave mine up through Thanksgiving. But--you've given me some great ideas.

Hugs,
Betsy

Gorgeous decor! I love all of the pumpkins and gourds. I am getting excited to decorate, too, for the fall and upcoming holidays. Sounds like you had a fun adventure. I, too, see fall upon us!

So cute, and I bet Miss Robin's nest is tucked in there somewhere too.

I'm not quite ready to let summer go but each day the foliage reminds me that it's time to move on into Autumn.
Your decorations are wonderful!

I absolutely love fall!! The changing of the leaves, the cool breeze and lower temperatures, all the amazing color changes, sitting on my back patio with a fire in the firepit. And I'm always sad when it is gone, the trees are bare and everything seems so gray!! But fall. . . .LOVE IT!!!!

Thank you for your inspiration to decorate for fall. I heart Halloween. My son was born in Transylvania.

Peronsally, not into halloween--very odd"hol" but love St. Francis statues! Also, just saw your xmas tree in the window shot on side bar. Fantastic. So cozy adn incredibly quintesentially classic christmassy looking.
