Real optimism is aware of problems but recognizes solutions;
Knows about difficulties but believes they can be overcome;
Sees the negatives, but accentuates the positives;
Is exposed to the worst but expects the best;
Has reason to complain, but chooses to smile.

Love it and the picture is stunning.
How much would I love to be in the field picking lavender!!!!!!!
I think I am an optimist so I can agree with these sentiments. However, I do have my down days when everything seems to go wrong and there are no solutions. To be able to see obstacles as challenges is indeed a gift.
Lovely lavender!

Lovely. . . the poetry and the photograph!
By the way, I just realized I have never heard the music on this blog until today. What lovely choices! The arrangements beg one to create. . . write, and relax. Thank you.
The poetry is words to live by,what if that was in the farm land in back and not hay? Fresh cut hay smells sweet,it would be lavender and not green hay.LOL and you are so right about how many men it would take.

We all have our ups and downs but usually there are more ups than downs. That field of lavender is incredible.
OMG Is that lavender? How gorgeous!
So true about optimism! And the lavender fields pic - gorgeous! lavender is one of my favorite plants - also because of the fragrance:)
Food for thought, and a truly fabulous photo.
