The Longest Night
The longest night of the year, with the Cold Moon as it's companion.
I had completely forgotten that winter has arrived. The long nights will gradually shorten, but the cozy light of candles will still be welcomed for many more weeks (or months?)

Candles are so lovely - who can resist!
I love the hibernating these nights provide, including firelight and candlelight, which add a mellow glow to the setting of home for Christmas.
Candles are always so magical. The glow is warm and erases the sharp coldness of a winter night.
