Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.

Running errands today in the big city of Nashville.
On the way home, I passed by one of the older wooden-framed churches, just up the street from where we live.
I glanced over, and there on the front lawn was this live display, young men, re-enacting in part, the suffering of Jesus Christ, and the two criminals on either side.
A poignant display, I was overcome with emotions and wept, and pulled over to the nearest spot, to pray.
I can't remember a time when I was so deeply moved.
Atonement was made for our sins.

Wow, I bet that did strike you with emotions. Bet those guys are having a chilly day to do this, but after yesterday's terrible storm, I am thankful for the sun today. Happy Easter. The Lord bless you in this season.

Hi Jo, Just home from another trip--and trying to catch up a bit... What an awesome post today... Makes me cry also... I always enjoy our Maundy Thursday service at church and also our Good Friday service... VERY moving and emotional... BUT--then on Easter Sunday, he LIVES... Thanks be to God...

I would have been crying too. Easter is such a special time of the year. I love my lord for suffering and dying for me to have eternal life. Very precious post Jo, thanks for sharing.

wOw...This definitely is a head turner. Very powerful! I pray that it opened the eyes and hearts of people passing by to what Easter is really about.

I would have reacted the same way. A humbling moment. We are Grateful for His sacrifice.
