Optimism

Over the past few days, I've made several trips to Nashville.
I'd like to say it was for fun, rendezvousing and partaking of all a big city has to offer, but truthfully, it was to visit with a doctor about my ongoing knee and heel problem.
Not just any doctor I might add, a special doctor, whose credentials list him as one of the Tennessee Titans football -team physicians.

I'm hoping his expertise will give me a better outlook, take me off the side-lines, and help me get back into the game of life.
After all, there's only so much porch-sitting a person can do.

I hope he can help, too. There's nothing worse than being held back by a body part! :-)

I hope you can get some help for your knee and heel too.
My mommy has a hurt knee now for 6 years,,, and I keep hoping a miracle happens to fix it.
I hope a miracle happens to fix you too.
And then are you really going to play football?

I hope you have success with your team doctor. I love my ortho guys who are part of Premier Orthopaedics at Centennial Hospital area. (also in Harding Location which is closer to me). I've had one replacement and need the right one done, but probably won't until my mother dies. I can't give the months of rehab required at this time.
Best wishes,
Beckie

These ongoing ailments are such a nuisance, aren't they Jo. I do hope the doctor can give you some hope of a cure so you can get back to full activity again.

Oh, I can relate! I have been slogging through a rotten arthritis flare-up this spring, and it's so hard to stay calm and optimistic when the garden is calling! But since I'm much better at telling people what they should do, than I am at taking my own advice, let me encourage you to not rush things, remember that spring will happen next year, too, and to care for yourself as well as you care for all the creatures around you!

Jo, I meant to ask how your partial replacement went, but from the sound of the post you must be still having trouble. My new knew has finally stopped filling my days and I think of it less and less. Email me is you need to go that route. Hope all is well.
