Ah, the rain came in torrential downpours last evening just as we finished mowing the lawn.

It was brought in by STRONG winds, cooling the temps by at least 10 degrees in a matter of minutes.

It was lovely.

Wha....? It's not raining here and yet my weather bug says it's 70 and raining about 20 miles from here!

Come on rain!

I just have to say - I love wheelbarrows, and this is a great picture of a well-loved and well-used one!

Isn't summer rain a relief?! For all kinds of reasons, including that it gives us an excuse to stop working and relax for a bit!

I hope that you got a fair amount of rain. We got lots of wind, some thunder, and a few minutes of rain...but not even enough to send you inside.

I can't wait to see how your new landscaping turns out.

Rain showed up this morning here in Virginia, so I guess I have YOU to thank for it--THANKS, we needed it!

Send some of that this way. After a very soggy March, April and May we're getting a little dry.

Bless you!

We went from rainy, tornadic weather to 95 degree HOT!

That's Kansas for ya!

Hubby did some flower bed work this evening and I hope he'll continue with the good job he's doing.
I think he has a green thumb.

God bless,
d

We had glorious rain in the middle of Saturday night with the loudest thunder I've heard in decades. All 3 of us and two cats were wide awake because of the crashing thunder. Oddly for this area, the rain came from the northwest and went southeast to North Carolina from here.

All of outdoors is delighted!

Hugs!

We could use a bit of that rain here in East TN. The sun is frying my plants already!

we need rain really bad down here, send rain but no wind or hail or bad stuff. love the shot of the wheel barrow, were you using it to move things or about to fill it with flowers.

We had some rain today too - much needed. Everywhere in the south-east of England is sooooo dry and crops are failing. So unusual for this often soggy land!
You'll get back to your work soon enough!

You need a sign "Wanted Qualified Wheel barrow operator". lol

It it isn't rain, it is heat. I stayed out there until noon and that was almost too long.
