June Blooms
We're just a few days into the month of June, and yet the weather is as hot as the month of July. Very little rain, and so the flowers are being watered every day. I'm busy doing a rain dance, would you care to join ?
What dreadful hot weather we have! It keeps me in a continual state of inelegance.
the flowers are wonderful, but i like the watering can as much or better. that last flower is really pretty and sharp and clear. keep watering, we just had to add water to our pool, and we never have to do that, the rain keeps it full, but not now.
I joined you in the rain dance yesterday and - glory be! We had nearly 2 hours of almost torrential rain yesterday evening, along with most impressive thunder and lightning. As happened a week ago, this storm came from the northwest which is or was unusual.
Beautiful photos Jo and I have lots of rain here in New York I would love to send your way! We have had lots of rain and although it is lovely for the garden (and weeds I might add)it has also been a huge boon to the bugs! I guess it is true, we have to take the bitter with the sweet. Have a lovely Sunday and I will send a rain dance your way! Tina xo
Here too Jo. We have official drought to the east of us! I do my own rain dance. I am keeping on top of it with the hosepipe, just. Today though, it is cold and raining and windy, ugh! Your flowers seem to be enjoying the heat! and what a beautiful butterfly. What is it called?
Who would have thought we would want a little rain after all that we have had, but that heat sure wilts things, doesn't it? We need a happy medium! ha. What a great snap of the butterfly!

The day lilies think it is July, yours are lovley. Summer came quick to the south.
I really thought we would get rain here today, but we jinxed it when we put some new seed down for our yard and didn't water it...
I hope you're staying cool and enjoying your weekend--Your flowers are once again, just lovely Jo!!

Beautiful shot of the tiger swallowtail and the coneflowers.:-)
