Simple Pleasures
click to enlarge Oftentimes, it pays to wait. The sweetest of the season are now ripe for the picking ........ June strawberries.
Strawberries are just wonderful, aren't they. We have been stuffing ourselves with them over here. There has been a bumper crop and raspberries too. Just gorgeous.
I love strawberries and these look sooo good I could pick one of the computer screen, unfortunately strawberries do not like me,these days I come out in an itchy rash if I eat them raw.I do,however make jam which does not affect me !!.
those look prime for slicin and toppin on some ice cream or corn flakes. I used to love picking wild Virginia Strawberries in our fields growin up as a lil tot.

Oh does that look good. I really have fond memories of them on the farm where we had large patches of strawberries.
