Knee Deep In June

"Tell you what I like the best --
'Long about knee-deep in June,
'Bout the time strawberries melts
On the vine, -- some afternoon
Like to jes' git out and rest,
And not work at nothin' else!"

~ James Witcomb Riley : Knee Deep in June

Knee deep... sounds familiar! :) I've not been able to comment lately. I hope this goes though.

Hoping that you and yours are handling this heat! I've been off today doing a little retail therapy. Hoping to find a bench for the garden. No luck yet!

What a lovely table setting and photo. The strawberries look so wonderful as do the glasses.

Knee deep, indeed! Some things don't change.

Hugs!
