"Harshness vanished. A sudden softness
has replaced the meadows' wintry grey.
Little rivulets of water changed
their singing accents. Tendernesses,
hesitantly, reach toward the earth
from space, and country lanes are showing
these unexpected subtle risings
that find expression in the empty trees."

It's on it's way Jo! Can't get here fast enough for me.
I love to see the green glow in the trees as spring just peeks at us. It will be soon.
Hi,
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing such a beautiful blog! I
think my aunt, who lives in Franklin Tn and is also a
British expat, has been in contact with you previously. We were both
very excited to find your blog! Although I am a native Nashvillian,
my heart has been in Britain since my first visit there at age 14.
Now, at age 52, I still long to go back. My aunt's wonderful
"British ways" have such an impact on our family that in fact, my 20
yr. old son says his dream is to someday live in Wales and raise
Corgies!!
I always enjoy your beautiful photos and lovely poems, quotes, etc.,
and after a long day it's always a treat to sit down and enjoy the
relaxing music and "snow" on your page. Just wanted to say thanks
for sharing, and best wishes for Oliver's speedy recovery!
God bless-
Carolyn

Beautiful photo and post. Wish our snow was all gone. Have a great day !
It is starting to look hopeful, but I do not think that we are done with Winter yet.
Hey Jo!
Have you seen that reddish almost fuzzy look to the canopies of some of the trees? I noticed them when I drove to the dentist! There IS hope for Spring! The warm weather is making the buds start to swell already!
Beautiful post Jo...I'm hoping for the lilacs sake that the warm weather isn't just a tease. I've had my fill of snow and cold as I'm sure you and all bloggers who have had a snowy winter feel. Come on spring!
Maura :)
Spring has to start somewhere. The sooner you have it the sooner we will see it. We are melting today and tomorrow, then who knows what will happen.
Will be patiently waiting for the colors of spring from you ...
Same here! There really is a change in the air, cold as it still is at night, that whispers, "spring ...!"
Ta!
Hugs!
