Tales of a British expat, transplanted into the lush Tennessee countryside. Lover of old, time-worn, and antique. Tea-drinker, flower-grower, animal-nurturer.
Well Jo, I would love to visit. I am thinking of putting in a knot garden...thinking mind you. And, stay tuned. I have a recipe and instructions for making troughs like the one shown. I think you would like some in your garden.
Just popped over from another blog...I'm an American who has just repatriated to the US after 6 years in the UK. We're in Northern NJ now but my husband is a Tennessee boy (Maryville, just outside of Knoxville). I love the pics of the English gardens..sigh...we're all just a little bit homesick for England.
Oooooo....I will be RIGHT there. Gosh, all of these shots look so ideal, they could be paintings. Loved each spot. I would never come indoors if I had your gardens!
Ohhh, thank you sooooo much for the mini vacation...I loved eating my mater samich and tinkering in the garden shed ( a little envious though). The beach was a breath of fresh air without the drive and the walks through the garden gates and down the path have relaxed me just a bit ....now to crawl back to the books and work..
looks like you never left England! what a lovely spot for tea and a scone, conversation and a good book.oh and binoculars, (bet you have lots of interesting birds) Thanks for sharing your gardens with the blog world :)
Wow! Fantastic! Breathtaking! Is this YOUR garden? I am incredibly impressed! Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods! I'd love to follow you, too!

What a glorious garden. There is nothing like an English garden.

That is a fabulous garden. Love the lavender and those gorgeous blue toile covered chairs. Heavenly. Well until it rains!
Beautiful pictures! Beautiful garden! Will there be clotted cream and scones with our tea? (my favorite) Thanks for posting these lovelies.
Thank you for the sip of tea in the lovely garden.

It reminds me of a scene in a film that Darcy would star in - Wonderful!
