Tales of a British expat, transplanted into the lush Tennessee countryside. Lover of old, time-worn, and antique. Tea-drinker, flower-grower, animal-nurturer.
Jo, I can't believe it! I got to your post here. That rocking chair was so lovely, I brought a book and read until I fell asleep! Thanks for the relaxation!
It was so easy to insert myself onto that chair and begin to rock back and forth, back and forth. Your sense of place and artistry is unparalleled. Always. Thank you.
Jo, go get Jaime Oliver's new magazine and then sit and read. I went to Greece, Sicily and other far away places I've never been. I really enjoyed it. And the recipes will take you back to Great Britain.
Love this post and your blog. I hopped over here from oldcentennialfarmhouse.blogspot.com. Ha! You are a brit in TN, my brother is a Tennesean, living in Great Britain. Your photography is brilliant! Thanks for sharing.

That must be a seat in heaven? Perfect spot!!!
How delightful.
Sunny :)
Add a cup of coffee, a straw hat, and maybe a good book, but maybe not. Just sit and enjoy. Great arrangement and beautiful flowers.
Just checking in from Dave's blog. Thanks for posting the award on your sidebar. It looks bloody brilliant there! Congratulations.
I am glad you are having such a lovely day Jo, and that photo is fantastic. Have a great week.

Don't think I'd get up again if I sat down there...

I'd love to sit there with a book, just by myself and enjoy the silence and tranquillity.
