The summer heat has kicked in.
Hot and humid days, and evenings most often filled with a thunderstorm or two, cooling the night air.
Parents have begun shopping for school attire and supplies, since it's not too long before the children return to their scholastic schedules.
More new fawns have made their appearance, two does, with three babies between them.
Daddy deer, made a quick dash through the field, he doesn't linger long, being as he's a traveling man.
The rhythm of life continues.

Beautiful photos, especially the deer. We also have a few that love my hostas! Your photos are always warm and inviting. Thanks.
Wonderful photos and lovely description of life there .
Wonderful sky shots. I like the yellow and purple flowers together. The deer are entertaining but I am sure the plants you could have had if they were not around. Beautiful red flowers in the one shot.
So green! We have all brown right now....desperately need rain.
Love the photo of the deer!
Your property is so lush with brilliant greenery...and the visiting deer
add such a happy note
to the landscape.
Beautiful pictures. I was just out on my balcony reading when I saw a doe and twin fawns. So cute. Don't you love to watch them? And, that sunset... Some of my Virginia family is in Alabama right now and the heat has been merciless.
Beautiful photographs.
I like how you show and describe 'The rhythm of life continues'
All the best Jan
