Tales of a British expat, transplanted into the lush Tennessee countryside. Lover of old, time-worn, and antique. Tea-drinker, flower-grower, animal-nurturer.
Sweet idyllic homes. DO these sorts of homes still exist in England. Storybook houses! By the by, I love the blue-legged table on your banner. What a wonderful place!
I have many delightful David Winter cottages and would love for any one of them to be large enough for me to live it - or perhaps I could Alice-like become very, very small and enjoy furnishing the interior with even more tiny comfy, cozy furniture.
It's always a delight to visit, to enjoy your poems or narrative, and to hear the tranquil music.

Oh how I love these! I wish I had one to live in :)
i love big stone cottages, we have a few here in our town, and this little one is beautiful
They look so much like I imagine YOUR home being, Jo. Pretty little country cottage... :-)
It's so lovely, and beautifully crafted. When you say double cottage, does that mean 2 families would live in it like a duplex?
So sweet, dream cottage :)

The chimneys seem a bit taller than they would normally be, but otherwise cottages like these are found all over England.
And very cosy they are too..
So very, very pretty, Jo! I'd love to see some of those cottages firsthand myself. No trips on the horizon, though.
Oh, how sweet!
I love these. They are like fairy tale cottages to me.
Gorgeous.... I would love to have one just like one of those ---and I'd want it big enough to live in!!!!! ha

What a beautiful stone cottage. This would be a wonderful place to call home.
