Woolly Socks And Flip-Flops

We've been gifted with glorious Autumn weather the past few weeks , warm breezy days, and cool window-opening nights.
Despite the season's first frost a few days earlier, tomorrow is scheduled to be a balmy 82 degrees.

It's the time of year, when you step outside in the morning wearing your woolly socks and warm jacket, and by late afternoon, you've returned to your flip-flops and short-sleeved shirt.
The Morning Glory vines are loving it.

You're doing much better than we are. Here on the Plateau we've been having November a month early. Today we started worrying about "seasonal affective disorder," or winter blues.

I'm loving it, too! Except, we've had no frost here yet.

Carried my flip-flops to Tennessee but it was too cool to wear them! I so hated to get back to the heat here in Florida.

I keep thinking I should put my flip flops away so it will get hot enough to wear them again! So far they are just a sad reminder of another lost summer. The heaters are on and I'm packing hot cocoa in hubby's lunch box!

Hi! Jo,

Wow! 82 degress. Lovely!

We did have our first frost here as well. Quite chilly & the splendid Fall colors are fading quickly now. :o( sigh!

Love your Saint Francis statue. The Morning Glories are as usual...beautiful!

Thanks! for sharing. Have a sunny weekend.

Blessings & Hugs,

Your morning glories are lovely! I always say they look their very best just before the first frost takes them! I've had lovely weather, too, and I'm enjoying autumn so much!

I miss my morning glories. We haven't planted any here at the new garden yet. And I must. I love how yours grow horizontally. Thank you for your kind remarks that you left yesterday.

It was 26* here in PA the other night and yes, I had on my hand-knit Merino Wool socks! Burrrr! So much colder than my old home in Kentucky!
