Winter's Nap

Gentle eyes that see so much,
paws that have the quiet touch,
Purrs to signal "all is well"
and show more love than words could tell.
Graceful movements touched with pride,
a calming presence by our side --
A friendship that takes time to grow -
Small wonder why we love them so.

Aren't cats clever? No wonder that they say that a cat-nap is good for you!

Jo, Your cat is so cute. Isn't it funny how a cat can twist and turn into many positions to sleep. I tell my husband , "if only I could sleep like a cat !":):) smiles, Susie(She Junks)

As I type, I am surrounded by 12 of those fuzzy little paws. One set in the basket, one set on the windowsill in front of me and one set in my lap. Cats seem to love being in the presence of their mistress's, even when they are asleep... which is most of the time. Dear kitties!

Oliver has this napping thing down very well. Our Yellow Kitty is so old that sleeping is her full time job. She is lighter yellow than Oliver. I really like you cat.

Aww. Oliver is so sweet. Is he an indoor cat, or does he like to go hunting in the garden? I don't remember if you showed photos of him outside. His paw is so clean. :)

Your cat is gorgeous! I just adore ginger cats (or as we call them, orange stripey cats). Looking forward to visiting your lovely blog again next week when I'll have a bit more time to relax and enjoy it.
