Down The Rabbit Hole
Our Internet and telephone service decided it was time to take leave of absence this past week, and poof.... just like that we were void of connecting to the world of cyberspace and all of it's wonders.
It's almost scary how dependent and intertwined our daily lives have become with modern technology at our fingertips.
For the first few days, I felt lost, no checking e-mails, or reading favorite blogs, it's a strange feeling of the world moving on without you.
Thankfully, a knight in shining armour, disguised as a telephone repairman arrived today, and with a few pokes and pings; I've gotten my wings back.
Forgive me if I've not visited in the last week, I've been down the rabbit hole ..........

Oh my gosh, well, I sympathize with you totally and agree with every word you said. I have been having connection problems this week too. The darned cable just keeps cutting in and out on me all day and it's time to make that telephone call before it gets any worse. Have a great weekend Jo,
so happy the internet has connected with you once again...missed you!
I have found that being down the rabbit hole gives me more time to do things that really need doing. :-)
So glad you're back!
Good company down the rabitt hole, Alice in Wonderland was one of my favourite books when I was younger.
Glad you got your wings back :)
Sometimes you have to lose something to appreciate it. Life is like that. Welcome back. Deb
when we have a blizzard - I like it- like FREEDOM at last. We haven't had one yet this winter but I hope it happens.
How did we manage before computers and the Internet?
How disorientating for you Jo. I know myself how strange it feels to be so cut off. So glad you're back with us again :)
Isn't it crazy how much we miss something when it is gone? Who would have ever thought the internet would be such a big deal huh? Sure gotta have it now...Have a wonderful weekend...

Glad everything is back to normal. I seem to go into withdrawal when my computer is down. I have become very dependent with online service.
Me again. Please drop by to pick up a very deserving award. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Deb
I agree, we have become so used to our technical age I feel lost without my broadband if it goes down. Smartphone too.
