time in the potting shed......
Contemplating and intending.
Digging and potting.

~ Rudyard Kipling
There is no gardening without humility. Nature is constantly sending even its oldest scholars to the bottom of the class for some egregious blunder.

Jo, I can't keep allyssum alive. It looks so beautiful in the pot.
I love your potting shed--I think I could just sit and enjoy being in there and not get anything done! :-)
You have the most serene environment! I love your pictures of the potting shed!
as always, wonderful photos. who knew the potting shed could be so beautiful. wonderful photos of the things in the shed. almost makes me want to garden, NOT. my husband is the gardener, i prefer to enjoy others labor.
Your photos are beautiful as always.
Enjoy your time musing, imagining, enjoying the glory of small plants, and playing in the dirt!
Hugs!
I wish I could convince myself to get out and garden more.
I'm spending a lot of time in my garden as well, but I don't have a potting shed. I certainly like the results of your time in your potting shed.
what a good place to be in your lovely potting shed.

How beautiful, you'll find me in the garden too:)
Hello Jo, I bet it feels good to be doing some gardening again after all your rain. You have a wonderful potting shed...I can see why you would want to be out there keeping busy. Enjoy your days....Maura:)
Your pictures and prose here capture the essence of "garden love". I'm entranced by the images you've selected to share with us all. Blessings on the work of your hands today!
I found your blog via Life In Wakefield. I live just outside of Bristol Tennessee. Your pictures are amazing. I absolutely love your potting shed. Gardening is one of my favorite things, but don't do as much as I once did. Where in Tennesse do you live?
I love your blog. I adored the pictures the you have posted.
Take care-
ps i came to you from betsy's joyful reflections.
I am envious now of your great shed. What a wonderful place to get away from it all..except the beautiful pots you've created.

Enjoy your time out in the garden...it is so good for the soul. Lovely post. Your photos are always such fun and beautiful...they take me away to somewhere far...and I like that.
Enjoy your gardening.
I have been spending far too much time in the potting shed, and not enough time at the drawing board. But it is so addictive in the serenity of the garden shed. Enjoy yourself!
I love your blog!!!!

what camera and lenses do you use?
I am new at photography and need all the help I can get.
My mother was English. What part did you come from? She was born in Lancastershire and lived in Ilford a million years ago.
