About The Place

The difference in the Clematis in just two weeks is encouraging. I wasn't even sure if it would bloom this first growing season, but it has outdone itself.

A little cottage hideaway in the potting shed.

An endless collection of bird houses.

A garden visitor to the bird feeder.

Beautiful! I thought at first the deer was trying to hide behind the bush, and then I realized he's probably eating it! Great shots.

Oh clematis! It is SO beautiful. Is this the year you planted it? Wow... I thought it took several years to establish.

I would LOVE to grow some clematis... is it hard? It looks so spectacular.

Lovely! Your pictures make me want to run and buy a clematis right now and to find some large gourds to paint so they're charming.

We haven't yet seen our deer neighbors this year.

Hugs!

Hello Jo! Wow your clematis did wonderful despite all the rain you've had this spring...it's absolutely beautiful! I LOVE your bird houses..especially the painted gourd it that's what it is. What a wonderful visitor to have in your 'garden'...I'm afraid our Shep has the deer scared off for a half mile around our house and I don't blame them for staying away. I hope the sun is shining over there and that things are drying up for everyone. Take care and have a wonderful day. Maura

Love you photos. Very interesting. Has the water gone down yet? Saw a video on YouTube of the flooding in Nashville. Looks like the Opry House may be ruined.

Hi Jo, How's the water situation in your area now??? I'm sure it will take Lebanon a long time to recover.. So sad!

Your Clematis is gorgeous.. Ours had not started blooming when we left home.. I hope it blooms soon.

Great picture of the deer...They love bird feeders.

Enjoying the beach... Beautiful day today here!
Hugs,
Betsy

the deer photos is priceless, I really like the gourd bird house, I saw my first gourds in KY at age 10, they fascianted me. they were used to drink water from out of a bucket and as scoops and of course now bird houses.

Oh, the clematis is one of the prettiest I've seen. So full and colorful! I have trouble with clematis. I think my rabbit eats them!

Hey, I just finished looking at all your water photos..that was some wicked rainfall amount in such a short time. I am glad you are OK, but it looks like your area is really soggy. Hopefully the water is going down.
Your Clematis is a beautiful color..well actually all your flower photos are stunning! :)
