Scarlet Ball....

"October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came-
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band."

~ October's Party, George Cooper.

Such beautiful reds. We didn't seem to have a lot of the vivid reds this year. The colors have all but gone by in our area, time to get the rake out!
No apology needed, great minds think alike!

Thanks Jo! Since I missed the leaves of the mountains this year, it is so wonderful to see all the bloggers from there posting great pictures! :)

The red leaves are my favorite. I like how green you are still and the leaves contrast with it so well.

Just beautiful. Sadly, here on the Gold Coast our trees are green all year round, oh we do have a frangipani which loses all the leaves in Winter. When I was much younger and living in the UK, I loved to tread on the fallen autumn leaves and hear the crunch beneath my feet♥ Happy days!

Fall is just beautiful here right. I love it. Can do without some of the rain but it is a nice fall.
