I made that change today.
Next, will be the porch-furniture cushions, the birdhouses, and then the potted flowers.
"An altered look about the hills;
A Tyrian light the village fills;
A wider sunrise in the dawn;
A deeper twilight on the lawn;
A print of a vermilion foot;
A purple finger on the slope;
A flippant fly upon the pane;
A spider at his trade again;
An added strut in chanticleer;
A flower expected everywhere ..."

I love Spring - those scones and clotted cream on the right look yummy.
In answer to your question, I'm in Monterey, California. We've been here 10 years and loving it!
Josephine........your porch is devine! Did you make the wreath?
Hugs,
Carol
Oh I love your porch, Jo... The ferns are gorgeous. I've never had much luck with ferns. They need lots of water and lots of shade...
The Spring wreath is beautiful... I hope that this year's spring comes SOON. I'm like you---I'm ready for it also.
Hugs,
Betsy
Heather, "Monterey"...how lucky can you get ?
I've only seen it on television, but what a spectacular place !
Carol, yes I made the wreath, but the little Carolina Wren's think I made it for them, they keep stealing my moss..lol
Betsy, I hang ferns every year, they seem to do so well, partially covered by the porch, I would imagine.
Hugs,
Josephine (Jo)

I love your porch. Looks wonderful. I'm so ready for spring myself.
Your porch looks the perfect place to sit a spell. Those ferns look magnificent.
