Tales of a British expat, transplanted into the lush Tennessee countryside. Lover of old, time-worn, and antique. Tea-drinker, flower-grower, animal-nurturer.
We had an unannounced dinner guest last night, a nibble here, a nibble there, a nibble everywhere.....
They are so beautiful, but rather destructive in our carefully tended gardens! My sister has to surround many of her trees and plants or the deer would nibble them down to nothing!
So lovely to look out the window and see this sight. Sweet, even if it does nibble nibble
Ah this is sweet!
She looks healthy, Jo...
They are lovely to see but they do like a nibble or two don't they! All the best Jan
My sister gets deer in her yard (although I have never seen one) and she has to keep her vegetable garden covered to prevent that nibbling. Your pictures are wonderful.
What a lovely happenstance...beautiful creature..just being friendly....
I see why you have wire fencing everywhere as you have large animals eating all the greens.
