Our days have quickly gone from cool Spring weather to hot, humid and dry, the trees are beginning to lose their leaves. Keeping flowers watered in ninety degrees is a challenge in itself.
The Columbine seems to love the heat, I've offered it my portion....

Boy, it's hot here in Virginia, too. But, we have had some rain so that helps. Happy Saturday.
Jo , There for awhile we had so much rain....now it's all dry again. Hoping we get some of the rain forecasted for us tonight or tomorrow. Our temps were crazy hot for May and in the 80's for the start of June. Sure hope July n August aren't hotter than usual. Enjoy your pretty days and hope you get some rain also. We've had heat and smoke this past week and I'm looking forward to rain tomorrow, it's so dry here too!
Here in SE Michigan we finally finally finally got some rain. (our donkey pasture was suffering) And the temps are quite chilly today (50's). As long as we got the rain I don't care what the temp is!
My columbine just didn't do that well. I should have watered it more often. I like it being planted in the pot. May have to steal that idea. June is hot for us now.
