The Stuff Of Life

If you've spent any time at all outdoors this past week, it's hard not to notice the layer of sticky, yellow film covering everything in sight.
Pollen.........

It's the very essential of new life, a wonderful thing, unless of course you are an allergy sufferer.
Rains came Saturday, and washed a whole lot of it away, cleared the air, and yet you can still write your name on the car hoods.

The flowers and bees of course are loving it...

Rather a small trade-off for such beauty.

I hope your weekend was a sneeze-free one.

Yep, when we had our storms, the green just slid down a bit on my car.

It is a beautiful spring though and I'm (ah-choo!) enjoying it!

Our bees are not awake yet. We have a few flowers blooming here in the foothills of the forest.. no sticky yellow yet,

a little sneezing and wheezing...didn't go out much...believe the Live Oaks should be in full pollination mode!

Yes I have noticed the pollen and it is fierce this year! Hopefully we will be getting our rain showers soon and it will clear the air for a bit!
Hope you have been well and the kitty is enjoying the fine weather!

I read that pollen is worse this year than the past several years... I don't notice it yet up here --but we are a week or so behind you...

Even with the Pollen----I love spring!!! I just get so excited with each new bloom...

Have a great day/week.
Hugs,
Betsy

Spring has finally come to our area and I had a great time in the garden. No sneezing....yet.

No pine pollen here Jo but the daffodils can be quite pungent at times.
I'm glad you got some rain to clear the air. Rain is something we are very short of in the east of England at the moment. We have hose pipe bans from the start of April onwards...

Mold is every where this year and that is my irritant. You have such good taste in your home and yard decor...I could spend most of my day exploring your blog and listening to the music. (sigh)
