Spring shall not be deterred, the flowers and buds are once again giving color to the Winter landscape.
I took a little tumble down the stairs this past Friday, a clumsy slip on the carpeted edge, and off I went.
A surreal feeling, I could have swore to passing the March Hare on the way down.
Those of you that visit here often, know that I have been recovering all year long from knee surgery. Nothing major, actually quite a common procedure, yet the getting back to normal, has been a huge endeavour.
Of course, the fall has now set that back , and I'm once again gaited like a wooden-legged pirate.
No Spring in this step.
At least the Hyacinths have made me smile.

So sorry to hear this, just hope it want keep you down for long.
Glad the Hyacinths can help you smile.
Oh my goodness...that must have been so painful, with your knee issues added in. Hope you are recovering with a cuppa. Glad to know you weren't affected by the tornadoes.

Jo, I'm sorry to hear about your fall. That's certainly no fun and I hope you'll be recovering in record time. I'm glad to know that you weren't affected by the recent storms. We had a scare here, but thankfully, it fizzled out somewhat, just as it reached us.
Take care,
Babs
Wow! That is no way to recover. Hope you mend quickly for it would be no fun to be house bound with the approaching nice weather
Recover quickly (or as quick as the body allows) so you can get outside and soak up the rays!!
So sorry to hear about your fall. Hopefully the magic of spring will have you back in the swing of things in no time.
Ha! I found some of those flowers today, near the woods. They seemed smaller though... is that a pint or a quart jar?
So ready for SPRING!!! Pictures are great.
Sweet Blessings 2 u,

How very scary for you. I did not know you had knee surgery.
Oh the poor knee needs some bubbles filled with healing wishes to make it all better! Now, go catch them!
My mommy has a torn miniscus in her knee- and she said it will be that way forever--- she will use duct tape if she has too.
Your flowers are so pretty.
Yesterday looked like spring- today looks like winter.
Dear knee- please get better.

I'm so very sorry to hear you took a fall. Stairs can be treacherous.
So sorry to hear about your fall, Jo. My new knees are still stiff and sore. Therapy is helping alot. Got to get moving more since hubby is taking me to N. AL and TN the middle of May. A good incentive to keep me on track!
That falling thing is such a helpless feeling as if you want to grab onto something and there really isn't anything there. Alice hit a piano on the way down. I hope you didn't damage that knee so horribly bad.
Oh Jo dear ~ So like you to give
us beautiful blooms and inspiring
verses in the midst of your travail
Here is hoping the Spring fairies
will sprinkle healing dust upon
your brow and lift your spirits.
Special prayer for you....
Gentility
Somehow after knee surgery, as you think you are healing, a fall will happen. I've been there twice. Nurse it and continue on the road of recovery, it will get better! So very happy you were spared in that horrific storm! donna :)
Oh no..rats..I hope you recover swiftly:)
