Rebirth
"In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt." ~ Margaret Atwood
Now every field is clothed with grass, and every tree with leaves; now the woods put forth their blossoms, and the year assumes its gay attire. ~Virgil
Good Morning Jo, Oh how I long to get our dirtwork done around the house and then start putting in gardens. Right now I only have the veggie garden. I miss flowers. Oh well...one day. I love your gardens...and your music. I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday. Take care...Maura:)
i love purple flowers. we have two bushes in our yard that have wonderful purple flowers, they are not blooming yet, the cold took them leafless but they have leaves now.
Blues are my fav color in a garden I believe,so calming. I`m so sorry for the loss of your Uncle Len,being so far away makes it harder.I`m sure his spirit is right there with you as God comforts you, phylliso

Lovely! My clematis is in the bud stage! :)
That clemantis trellis is beautiful.
Sorry about your uncle Len passing. Even though you did not get to say goodbye I feel sure that he always knew he was special in your eyes.

I really like your clematis -- ours is growing like crazy, but no blossoms yet. I also really like that first quote.
I love clematis; they are addicting as are almost anything that comes back year after year.
Your flower photos are so richly colored and seem to be available for us to reach out and touch each bloom.
I'm just indoors from planting marigolds between the tomato plants to ward of bugs. Marigolds are so cheery!
Hugs!

These pictures are lovely. The trellis with the morning glories is superb. I want that here! Gosh, it is so pretty there where you are.
Your flowers are so wonderful. I like the clear blues and the different colors of green. Green looks great after our long winter.
I love smelling like dirt.
I planted some morning glories because yours are so beautiful.

Gorgeous photos! The clematis is so beautiful especially with the color of the building. Very nice!
Popped over from Kathryn's Crystal Jigsaw to have a look. Blog name caught my attention as my sister is an Irish expat in Tennessee. Loved the photos.
Such gorgeous photos. Thanks for sharing them and nice to meet another expat in the South!
I love these pictures of your garden. They look very English, like it's just been raining.
Blessings, Star
