Gone To Pot

What a play house or tree fort is to a child , a potting shed is to a gardener,
Shielded in the leafy embrace of the garden, it is a carefully guarded hideaway.
Alone there, we can dress as we please, act as we please, and play as we please.
No grown-ups allowed......

I'm sure yours will be well used this year. Let me know how your morning glories do.

I have a lovely little potting shed. It is currently full of bicycles, goalposts, racquets and boxes! One day I shall indulge and use it properly! Nice post :o)

I love that picture. I really think a potting shed (is that yours?) is a place that feeds the soul. I remember my mother's place, your post brought back that memory very clearly!

Good Morning Jo! I totally agree with you...a potting shed is a sanctuary a place we can get away from everyone and everything. It's our special place where we can find peace of mind and beauty. I hope you get to enjoy yours today. Have a wonderful day. Maura

I believe I like the potting shed MORE than what comes out of the shed. beauty in the shed, amazing.

Oh Jo.... Love your Potting Shed... You are so lucky to have one. As much gardening as we do, our garage seems to become our potting shed...ha ha

Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy

I have a greenhouse but I'm not sure it's the same thing. Lovely post, very thought-provoking words.

Such a beautiful thought. I don't have a potting shed, but love playing in the garden.

We can go to our potting shed without make-up and hair all a mess. We can get dirt on our faces and beneath our fingernails and not give a care! The flowers in the pots still smile at us and the birds serenade outside our little door. Ain't it grand?
