" September days have the warmth of summer in their briefer hours,
But in their lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn.
The cricket chirps in the noontide, making the most of what remains of his brief life.
The bumblebee is busy among the clover blossoms of the aftermath,
And their shrill and dreamy hum hold the outdoor world above the voices of the song birds,
Now silent or departed."-

Oh yes, we welcome September. I'm sitting here with a sweater on as it is much cooler this morning, which I love.
This is such a lovely reflection on September. I can almost hear the crickets and feel the shift from summer to autumn it makes the season feel alive and thoughtful.
A beautiful celebration 🍾 ❤️ of September. Thank you 😊 so much. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦
We have locust right now that are calling in the evening. My grass is not growing so much anymore and I look out the windows wondering what the first thing I see will be for fall.
