Silent And Soft

Mother Nature threw down her blanket shortly after midnight last night, just in time for an arctic blast moving through the area.
Soft, wet snowflakes cocooning everything in sight.
The songbirds have once again retreated to their nests, in a world of silence.

We are supposed to having an Arctic blast but it won't bring your covering and beauty. Keep warm

I think the silence enhances the beauty of the snow. It started to snow after midnight here, too, and supposed to continue until Wednesday night.
Stay warm and cozy. Plenty of tea, hot chocolate,....and perhaps homemade soup.

It was beautiful snow here too. I stayed home rather than get out in it to run errands. I made a very productive day of it at home.

Sometimes such snow-seclusion brings a certain tranquility and restful pause. Your
photos attest to its peace.
