A damp and sunless morning.
The weather has turned to a bone-chilling cold, with an arctic blast predicted over the next several days.
There is a list of chores as long as my arm waiting for attention, but my motivation seems to be running on empty.
I've been gathering Christmas decorations here and there, but not quite ready to devoid the tree of its ornaments or remove the twinkling lights in the kitchen.
Sparkly encouragement is welcomed.

We're in a deep freeze as well that started yesterday and will end sometime over the weekend. No new snow but we're expecting - 40 Celcius over night. Brrr! Happy New Year! Sincerely, Chy
I've got most of our Xmas decor boxed up. The tree comes down tomorrow I hope. But I really like the festive lights too. I shall make my husband keep some up. Outside is his job. And we have the inside boats with lights.
Our weather is no longer freezing thank goodness. Sun comes and goes.
Keep warm
Hi Jo, we are just getting into the really cold weather. Supposed to stay cold all week. As for Christmas... not taking down anything yet. Usually we do by the week after New Year's... but think we'll keep most things up for a bit (like the cozy). DH did take the outside lights down this morning.
