Salt Box Houses
Primitive New England saltbox houses. I do seem to have a soft spot for them.
During my high school years I lived in a "salt box" style colonial brick house in Yorktown, Va so I do know what that is! Your little ones are adorable!
These houses need little to be improved upon in terms of appeal. Such simplicity has a serene effect on its surroundings ...so balanced. Love your miniature collection.

Lovely old houses!
I have heard of salt box houses. In New Orleans we had more of what they called 'shotgun' housing.
This is amazing! Last night I was watching videos about New England salt box houses on YouTube. The channel is called Old New England Houses.
I live in New England, and absolutely love them!
Lovely lovely houses!

I grew up in a salt box house, cedar shake clad, and I can attest to their fabulousness, both inside and out!
