Indian Summer is upon us. Balmy warm days, and mist-laden nights.
One last chance to indulge in fleeting Summer pleasures.
An early American writer described Indian Summer well when he wrote, "The air is perfectly quiescent and all is stillness, as if Nature, after her exertions during the Summer, were now at rest."
~ John Bradbury 1817

I’m not ready for the cold Winter months, so I am trying to squeeze in every moment of enjoyment out of the Autumn season. But it feels like a race against time, with the days shortening and the nights lengthening, everything is passing so quickly!
Love all the sweet Indian Summer days. Jo, when we do not need AC or heat , it's heaven to me. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I love Indian Summer. I wish we could have it until spring returns. I'm not a fan of cold weather. Lovely picture of the table. I would love to sit there with a cup of tea and take in all the beauty around me.
Indian summer is truly the most perfect time of year. I think we can all agree that it should last until spring. A mellow, golden embrace of Mother Nature.
Just lovely....

I just returned from a month in Georgia. The Indian summer was wonderful. Now that we are back home in the northwest, we are in full autumn mode! This is a lovely blog. I just stopped by through my cousin's blog, Come Away With Me. Nice to meet you.
