Nesting

Despite blue skies and sunshine, there is a cold, whipping wind, outside.
A bone-chilling wind, that keeps me cocooned inside today, despite having other plans.
A new candle scent permeates the kitchen, I'm thinking Spring needs to hurry and get it's skates on......

I agree. It's cold and windy here too and I am so over it. a good day to stay inside and maybe nap or read a book. I've been doing both.

I just looked at our forecast into next week…a chance of below-freezing temps Tuesday night/Wednesday morning? Yikes! Our blueberries have already begun to bloom…too early, that’s true! Very cold wind outside today!

"Oh wind, if winter comes, can Spring be far behind?"
If winter leaves, can we finally get to
Spring? Fretting over the miniature daffodils
surrounding our mailbox and other plantings that
trusted those warmer temps days ago. Hope springs
eternal. That candle's fragrance must be lovely
and comforting. Nestle in an enjoy....

The March weather in my area of Tennessee is infuriating. Warm and sunny one day - - freezing and rainy the next. The cold winds are blowing often this month. The temperature is suppose to drop to 20 degrees (Fahrenheit) tomorrow night.

The Kitchen Spice candle looks inviting.

Oh, I know the feeling! I have been home sick all week (mystery illness, doc says not covid, but miserable all the same) and peeking out my windows to see the crocuses blooming in the herb garden. At night it's been rainy and windy and howling... hoping for Spring, like you! I wonder how many of us are out there, willing Spring to happen?
