Floating Along

Another day of rain.
Six inches of the stuff, the ground is soaked.

It seems as though an entire Spring's rainfall has fell in one week.
Even Freddie the frog has taken to higher ground.

Cold, wet leaves
Floating on moss-colored water
And the croaking of frogs -
Cracked bell-notes in the twilight.

Jo, That is a lot of rain. Not so good for low lands. Your frog by the pond is fun to see. Try to stay dry. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

We are needing rain but six inches would be too much. You are always greener sooner than us and I like seeing it at your place.

The thunder/lightening and downpour this morning were doozies. TN is awash
and Mr. Frog moving to higher ground proves his mettle...

Hopefully, the rain is done for a while. Now you can enjoy your beautiful yard. Hugs, Edna B.

Here on Long Island, waiting for a sunny day to get my planting done! Looks like it might be today... but it's still really chilly - guess I have to wear a jacket!

Love that photo of the frog on a frog - amazing!
