All Change

Just as Spring temperatures were on the rise, and the promise of days spent outside in the garden tantalized our spirits, a March snowfall has blanketed the landscape.
Bitterly cold wind, the kind not fitting for man or beast.
The songbirds, once again silenced.

Out of the cloud-folds of her garment shaken,
Over the woodlands, brown and bare
Over the harvest-fields forsaken,
Silent, and soft, and slow
Descends the snow.

~~By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.~~

This March weather has been all over the place. The sun was out and so pretty today, but it was plenty cold. I have only reached out the door for the mail for two days. LOL I guess we better keep the blankets on our beds. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I so agree - same thing in Missouri! I spent several hours hoeing weeds this week and now it is all covered with snow. Lovely photos!

What lovely photos of your snow-covered property, Jo. We had temps in the teens overnight and March winds gusting through the trees. Next thing you know, an explosion
of blooming color will greet us, given the 60's and 70's sunny warmth this coming week. Hope so. The garden beckons.

This will probably be winter's final blast. The snow took me by surprise, because it got up to 70 degrees last week and I thought spring had arrived early.
Your photos of the snow are lovely.

We are having typical screwy spring weather too! It should warm back up soon.

I agree the snow is lovely, but I do prefer a warmer sunny day. It's good that Spring is almost here. Enjoy your day, hugs, Edna B.

Sounds familiar to the scene Michigan. Ice to mud to ice to snow to mud.
