Returning

Two days of continuous rainfall, water standing ankle-deep, I'm beginning to think a pair of webbed-feet would be fitting.

Temperatures are unseasonably warm, and will remain so throughout the week.
There are shoots popping out of the ground everywhere, which is a little discerning, since we are still in the depths of winter, and snow is still a possibility.
I think Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humor.
Row, row, row your boat......

I hope those new shoots survive till spring. You;ve had more water than us. It's been a wet winter in lots of countries and freezing. It's warm again here. Perfect growing weather. But winter is not over yet

A lot of rain here in this part of TN, but freezing weather is predicted for tomorrow. Mother Nature indeed has a wicked sense of humor. Jon

Hello! Love your photos of your home and gardens. Here in Michigan we haven't any delicate shoots coming through all the snow but I am hopeful and keep walking to the gardens to anticipate their arrival. I love winter and the snow so I will be patient. Have a Peacefu Day.
