It always amazes me that despite the freezing water, soon after Spring arrives, the sound of croaking, once again returns.
Cold, wet leaves
Floating on moss-colored water
And the croaking of frogs -
Cracked bell-notes in the twilight.

Ohh, nice! I love it all, and the gentle rain is not quite what we had this morning on my walk, but instead incessant rain with wind. I'll trade you. :-)
Looks like beautiful spring out your way.
Jo, I love all the pretty views of the pond area. Nice to know you have frogs , they help with bugs. LOL. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I love the photos of your pond area. Such a peaceful looking place. Spring is looking really beautiful in your yard. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Your place looks so peaceful. Wow Spring is upon you. We had snow last night but it wont stay.
Such a pretty garden. I love your little pond and the croaking of frogs. Spring is here.
Everything looks so healthy. I was outside this evening, listening to the frog choir. It's one of my favorite things about Spring. Thanks for the post! Phil/MN
Beautiful!
Your pond is lovely. Little rain gives the Spring that beautiful touch.
Lovely post.
Great pictures and I like the words too from Amy Lowell.
All the best Jan
Oh how beautiful is His creation! Wonderful pictures!
God bless and Happy Easter! Net
Your images are breathtaking. Nice to see St. Francis, someone stole mine years ago.
The frog fountain is back. That is such a stringing blue almost purple color. We had a gentle rain but it just didn’t last very long. With all the snow that we had, we still need rain.
