Nesting

Several of our western counties were blanketed with snow today, luckily we were not included.
There's a cold, blustery north wind blowing, and rain has saturated the ground for the past three days.
Birds are hunkered down in their nests, the ones who are brave enough to venture out, are flying sideways.
The cats are happily sleeping, they have started putting on their winter bellies, as with the rest of the household.
*sigh*

Snow finally melted today. It is warming up through next week so I'll send it along for you and yours to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Donna@gather

You may have missed the storm but we sure got the snow. It's supposed to warm up today and melt so I am looking forward to that. When I saw the title to your post I thought, "Nesting. Yes, that's what I'm doing." More cleaning the house for the holidays today. Hope you have a good day!

It sounds like just the time to snuggle in with those soft winter bellies and enjoy it. :-)

Hope you manage to avoid the snow! It's weirdly mild here in the UK even the far North! SO far not even a frost.

Yes the kitties really take to the winter weather snuggling up & sleeping.

Jo, I did laugh about the birds flying sideways...but didn't God give them such brave little hearts...for them to even try to fly into the winds. I have felt like when I was a child and would see little birds looking for food in winter...you want to bring them in to warm them and give them some crumbs. Stay warm my sweet friend, Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

They are clumping because of some weather, temperature, change. It makes it look like an eerie scene.
