Our day started with a thick, soupy fog, and much cooler weather than we have had in weeks.
It lingered all morning long, making driving quite dangerous.
Of all days, I had appointments to keep, and putting them on hold wasn't an option.
By noon, the fog had lifted, and sunshine had made an appearance.
A typical Autumn day, I tried to forget it was Friday the 13th.

Love the mist, Jo. Thanks for sharing. Hope your Friday the 13th was ok. X Chy
I didn't realize that it was Friday the 13th until DH mentioned it. Luckily we didn't have any errands to run today. I hope the fog there didn't give you any trouble. I like fog... and mists... (the dragon's breath I believe Merlin called it), but definitely don't like driving in it.
Here, too (can't remember which morning)...
You captured it so well in your photo!
Oh wow, that is foggy.
Jo, I know that feeling...I really hate driving in fog. I always pray for those that have to be out on the roads while it's foggy. Last year was one of the foggiest I can ever remember...hope this one isn't. LOL. Blessings, always love your photos. xoxo, Susie
Well that was sure a Friday 13 kind of day.
We never did get rain but did get some cooler
days.
I no longer think of Friday the 13th as being anything other than a date ... in fact, really great things have happened on a Friday the 13th for me ... I love the flowers and green and mist .. I would never in a million years guess where your gardens are .. what country .. maybe some enchanted magical place we don't know the name of :)
The weather looks perfect for Friday 13th Jo. All you need are the Halloween ghosts. Our mornings are very dark lately and I am beginning to crave the end of the month when we put the clocks back.
The pictures are just beautiful!! I was out and about Friday 13th too! We have fog this morning. Supposedly, cooler fall weather is on it's way.
What a difference in your photos from fog to clear. You are still pretty green for fall.
Lovely photographs ...
All the best Jan
